The turning of pages and two different years existing at once within our time zones. What magic there is in such a space. Much reflection and humbled perspective, and somewhere in it the miracle of hope, a hope I hold ever dear. I experienced strength, grace and grit beyond what I perceived as my limit. I also experienced my own frailty, flaws and faulty lenses within my limits too. I learned to gather up all the pieces regardless, and with my heart give thanks for it all. Just the same I learned to lay down loads no longer mine to carry, let go of dynamics that drain and to move in congruence. There were tired grumblings and dust from long buried carpet sweepings all amuck in the air. There were also sweet discoveries, gifts of kindness and more grace offered than what was warranted. I saw my best, my worst and my in betweens, and I embraced the audacity of Love that says all of me is worthy of its affection. I learned that the only wishes I wanted to make on a star this year pertained to the bare bones of health, peace and an eye to notice the good, the good that ever abounds. So here we are in the turn of tides, some already on the other side, and myself still sauntering through for a handful of hours more. My wish for you, and for all of us, friend, foe, beloved, acquaintance and stranger alike, is that goodness would find you this year, that love would pour forth on you like never before, that health and wholeness would strengthen, that dreams and hope would grow, and that your heart would overflow from these sweet gifts that I sincerely hope find you in plenty. Thank you from my heart for gracing me with your moments in this space, for offering such kindness here, and being a warm and inspiring presence.
