There has been much gathering and storing like woodland creatures in their furrows who prepare for the yieldings of colder months ahead. And somewhere in a snow drift I find myself further and further from The Forest Inside A Phone and deeper into the warmth of a hearth and homestead that is nurtured here. Soup and stew, sustenance and nourishment, books and board games, whispers of the heart that etch their way out under a safe bundling. I’ve been quite recluse with emails and messages, so many I’ve not even read (I’m so sorry if I’ve missed any from anyone reading this). Time is sparse and free time is not free and in fact more precious than all the jewels of the ancients. The paradox of slowing and the stretching of moments versus the plowing and seconds vanishing into thin air. A time for both, a balance in the scales, though oft not linear in progression. All that to say it is okay to immerse into what the season at hand calls for. Maybe that entails one thing at a time or perhaps a juggle of many. My season presently is the one thing, at a slow pace, with several pauses along the way. . . . .
