But rather than taking it as a compliment that your partner is desirable, the majority of people said that they wouldn’t like it, with some even saying they wouldn’t date somebody attractive because they would feel too insecure that they’d end up cheating on them. I think it’s bizarre that people date based on looks anyway - either dating somebody because they’re attractive or deliberately dating them because they’re not attractive - why not date somebody because they’re a nice and decent person regardless of what they look like? Why not date somebody who is faithful, kind, considerate and loyal regardless of how many social media followers they have? At the end of the day we all end up the same way, wrinkly, droopy and counting our teeth in a cup, so seek out personality, spirit and a good heart, somebody to stand strong by your side years after the surface and superficial have faded. I feel judging people on a whole, stereotyping and categorising based on looks, style, age, career path, religion, politics or whatever other means is absolutely absurd. I’m just as true to myself whether I’m in a bikini or jogging bottoms, talking to a bus driver or a film star, getting sweaty at the gym or glammed up on a red carpet. If you’ve found a good and honest person then infidelity will never be a threat to your relationship; far too many people stay in toxic, unhealthy, miserable and promiscuous relationships because they’re scared that they won’t find any better. Wake up and get out of there! Nobody ever found true love and happiness by settling for misery and hoping it would get better.
