That moment in 2013 along the Red Sea in Djibouti, sitting on a pile of rubbish in the sand healing a sprained ankle, is an image of all of us. Standing alone on this small planet, even smaller in our humanness, lost and entangled in the enormity before every one of us, searching for a signal to call someone we love, in search of hope. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ May I share with all of you something incredible…two weeks ago, a gentleman by the name of Razouk contacted me. Turns out, he is the person on the far left, trying to catch a signal with his phone in neighboring Somalia. Even more beautiful, he DID make it for a better life in Sweden!
