This past year has made many of us recognize so acutely who and what is meaningful to us. I am thinking about how to convey that new understanding in both the gifts I give and those I accept. The decisions I make are based on the idea of a mutually supportive relationship, one where there is loyalty and no strings attached. Where both are valued for their unique and special qualities. There’s a gift waiting in the wings for me to open, something that conveys a valued relationship.
