I made it to full term and the doctor was out at a Christmas party when my mom went into labour. He left the party and went straight to the hospital to deliver me. Imagine now, 35 years later, hearing that!! Times have definitely changed. I got to go home a strong and healthy baby at 7 lbs 5 oz. No need for extra care (that’s me in the first photo). That’s not quite the case for my little one Zoey. Born at only 4 lbs 2 oz, she needed some extra TLC in the NICU before she was strong enough to come home.
