Photo by @max.lowe / As we made our way up the channel toward the LeConte Glacier on the National Geographic Sea Bird, the remnants of glacial calvings past began passing us in the still water. This piece stuck out to me, with its deep blue ice showing that it had been under severe pressure, possibly at the heart of the glacier itself, at one point.
