This is a mouth-watering drink of strong espresso, warm chocolate and topped with a froth of whipped cream. Bicerin is often served in transparent glass cups, so that it is possible to see the different layers of the drink, which create shades of chocolate, espresso and cream. The original recipe is still kept by the caffè but the “imitations” are no less tasty. Here’s my version of this luscious hot espresso and chocolate drink using Nespresso coffee.
