It’s been two years since we announced our hawker culture bid for inclusion on the @unesco Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Delighted that their Evaluation Body has made a positive recommendation for us! We will know UNESCO’s final decision in December.

While the pandemic has hit our hawkers hard, many customers have rallied round their favourite hawkers to see them through. I hope this announcement will bring good cheer to our hawkers and their supporters.
