Not new ones, but my mind is jumping forward in a concept through quotes. • If you’re not inspired by your circle, you’re in a cage. • If it costs you your peace it’s too expensive. • The way someone treats you is a much bigger reflection of them than you. • Hurt people, hurt people. • It was on this very hike with my friends that I talked about this idea of people being mean or judge mental..... as - trying to get rid of pain they have inside by “giving” it to you (projecting). The problem is, obviously, it doesn’t work. They still feel pain, probably more. And you are now presented with poison. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this dynamic. This is called being human. But.... can we shift our perception of it and see the poison as their tender wounds. Can we see them with empathy and compassion? A question I have been asking myself regularly these days is - how can I love them better? It’s love that will transform the lens in which we experience reality. Not being right.
