Photo by @andrea_frazzetta / Grottole is a small village in Basilicata in the south of Italy. Its name comes from the grotticelle, small rooms still visible along the walls of the hill on which the town stands. In these rooms the craftsmen of the village used to mold beautiful clay vases. Today they house another precious treasure: the wine that the families of the village produce in the surrounding countryside.
