There are actually many health benefits to eating curry, as turmeric helps to reduce inflammation, curcumin helps to prevent and treat cancers as well as aiding in digestion, combating Alzheimer’s disease and fighting bacteria with the protein content also helping to boost the immune system. Being plant-based I have a LOT of fresh vegetables, lentils, rice and spice in my diet and feel so uplifted by a hot vegan bowl and cup of green tea on a chilly autumn day. I typically eat curry, rice and dal between 3-5x per week and add spice, herbs and fresh juices to all of my cooking.
