As an adaptive surfer of course I need help getting in the ocean but Johns skills for helping me get from the inside where all the waves are crashing to the outside, where you catch the waves blew my mind during this last comp the @supergirlpro . . Timing is everything and attempting to get out during a lull in the swell is ideal. Good thing John reads the ocean like a good book, carefully and meticulously. Also, being able to talk strategy before the comp and really understanding what the ocean is doing helps so much much before I paddle out to compete. . . Not to mention this guy has a heart of GOLD. His day job is working with adults with developmental disabilities and he’s always doing something super cool like taking them surfing or biking or hiking and puts a lot of his attention on keeping his clients active.
