Moroccan modernist Mohamed Melehi’s radical vibrant works capture a post-modern aesthetic with the cultural richness of Moroccan-Berber crafts. The subject of renewed recent international acclaim, Melehi is currently being celebrated in two exhibitions concurrently, in Dubai’s Al Serkal Avenue and London’s Cromwell Place.

This rare painting from the start of the 1970s is currently on view in our London galleries, ahead of our online auction of Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern art (open for bidding from 20-27 October).
