On some nights,
I look up,
Gaze at the stars,
And find the silence
Embracing me,
Letting me hear the sounds,
That exist
And yet unheard by most of us,
The sounds I can’t describe,
Or explain the words that ring in my ears,
But the sounds
That heal,
Coming from far away,
Passing through many millennias,
And sights across the universe,
The sounds that move through me,
As if I’m nothing but a vessel,
Through which this space
Expresses its own identity.

Maybe in moments like these,
When I stand there and gaze at the starry skies,
I know I’m no different,
But one of them,
A part of many different parts,
Which were once whole,
And these sounds are nothing,
But the stories I once lived,
And the stories that are now waiting
To once again live themselves,
Through me.

For I’m nothing but a vessel,
Through which the universe,
Finds a way to express.
