Their drive to find greener pastures is perilous. Huge crocodiles and aggressive hippos were waiting for them in the water, and as they reached the other side they were met by a leopard and several hyenas. Crossing this river is the most dangerous part of the wildebeest’s annual migration around the Serengeti: Drowning kills far more wildebeest than the predators that lie in wait for them. #campaignfornature
