Thousands gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial with a unified message, seeking criminal justice reform and reminding everyone of their right and need to vote. As I photographed from a remarkable vantage point, with the Washington Monument behind me, I reflected on the fact that this is a transformational moment in our country, and I felt grateful that this march was taking place.
