My favourite feature was the touchscreen autofocus. Coupled with the tilting screen, I could comfortably shoot low to the ground perspectives without the need for a tripod or contorting myself into awkward positions, and still easily focus stack numerous images.

On the tripod, the low light capabilities of the Z 50 when used with the native NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens gave me some jaw dropping clarity, especially when shooting Tasmania's famously clear night skies.
