"It's one of nature's most secretive light shows, but this glow-in-the-dark fungi only performs for a few weeks a year. Ghost mushrooms produce light known as bioluminescence through an internal chemical reaction.

Found mostly in south-eastern Australia, I was lucky enough to stumble across a patch here in the northern suburbs of Sydney. Seeing them glow with the naked eye was amazing. Photographing them at a long exposure was just incredible." - @mattfinphotography
