For our October 2020 issue, we caught up with interior designer @echichua to talk about her and her husband @フェドン・パパマイケル's Art Nouveau home, which was originally designed by architect Simon Kldiashvili. Papamichael's favorite surprise during their design process was the original frescoes of gnomes hunting, eating, drinking, and playing instruments, scattered throughout the home. "My goal was to uncover the home’s original spirit and blow new life into it, says Papamichael. "I did not want to sacrifice any of the original frescoes, detail, or woodwork."
