"A big winter swell hit the north shore of Hawaii on December 8, 2010. Sion Milosky got the wave of the day at Rock Pile and was fortunate enough to capture it from the channel. I didn't know who this was at the time but knew this person was special. This session he approached these big waves like nobody else in the line-up. He was fearless, confident and had good style to boot. Where other surfers were just trying to make the drop and hang on, Sion was drawing different lines and looking for barrels."
