Years ago, while attending a photo walk in Delhi, I asked someone holding a DSLR, which is the best camera according to him? He looked at me and told me that best camera is always the one that you’re holding, because if something has to occur in front of your eyes, you wouldn’t have enough time to run to the nearest store and purchase the best camera available to capture it. Instead all you’ll have is that moment, the device in your hand, and your knowledge about light/angles/composition, and that’s all you need to capture the frame in front of you. It doesn’t matter if it comes a little grainy, some of the best pictures you’ll see are grainy because of the lack of a high end equipment, but that is never an issue, as long as you could connect with the viewer, as long as you can create a relation with the one watching your work and make them feel a small part of what you felt while capturing that scene, it’s enough to make that picture work.
