Photo by @robert_ormerod Lighthouse keeper Billy Muir walks out to the old foghorn on the island of North Ronaldsay. The most northerly and most isolated of the Orkney Islands off the north coast of Scotland, North Ronaldsay is a great place to see migratory birds and its famous breed of seaweed-eating sheep. The North Ronaldsay Lighthouse, not to be confused with the beacon at Dennis Head, is the oldest intact lighthouse in Scotland and has the last working foghorn in the country.
