This dog is an absolute work of art. It’s like he has a gift for me that he’s been trying to show me how to use since I met him. Through my worst and my best he’s been there, as he continues to be here. He’s a slow and steady force, a constant beacon of stillness, a good boy. It’s really not what I expected from one of the most active breeds, and maybe therein lies the message. Maybe I’m reading too much into it – he’s definitely a dog.

I haven’t been posting to @momosface as much because he hasn’t been feeling like sitting for the photos. His joints don’t always let him sit comfortably. He has his good days however, aquatherapy gives him occasional puppy energy. I only ever photograph him as much as he lets me, and I’m grateful every time he does.
