When feeling distracted by internalizing, I have to breathe. It occurred so often on both trips to India for the Water Everywhere, and Nowhere, at times, it felt I was nowhere and everywhere. Simultaneously. In these moments, I realize I have become too blind to see. How by overthinking, I must detach from the story, and from life. Finding metaphors, nothing at all what the story is; A blood-covered cape moving in West Bengal, trees of self-cutting along the Beas, and the comfort of an orange blanket on water lilies by the Sutlej, two polluted rivers flowing parallel in Punjab. Only after the internalizing diverts into visual distractions, photographs that never will appear in @ナショナルジオグラフィック, these little poems guide me, on what the story might actually be.
