Photo by Prasenjeet Yadav @prasen.yadav This image of an Indian fox was made on the lateritic plateaus of northwestern Maharashtra, India. This relatively dry and barren-looking plateau comes alive after sunset. This juvenile fox was close to a road, potentially looking for scorpions, saw-scaled vipers, or fan-throated lizards, which are its primary prey on this plateau.
