Nominated for the Turner Prize in 2005, the artist made his stamp on the art scene 20 years ago with “Zobop” – a visually punchy floor installation composed of vibrant coloured tape strips designed in kaleidoscopic shapes and patterns. Conceived for Lambie’s first ever solo show at the London Showroom in 1999, “Zobop” has since gone on to grace the floors of MoMA, the Royal Academy and Tate Liverpool.
