So much frustration, more tears than I’d like to admit & countless hours spent training alone in a garage in Florida. All while watching the days I “should have” been at the Olympics go by. All training with no firm date of when I would need to perform at my best again. But we stuck with it, every single day, when I didn’t want to, when I didn’t feel like it, when I had to literally force myself out of bed and into my sweaty garage. And we still are. This was just another training day. There’s so much more to come, in terms of both lifting and stressful times, and even more uncertainty still surrounding everything. But one thing remains constant: head down, eyes forward. Always.
