We met over 10 years ago when she moved to the United States and started training at my rink and have stayed close ever since. She is a former singles and pairs skater, Ukrainian Novice Bronze medalist, and a two-time Regional champion. Struggling with a back injury for several years, burnout, and an eating disorder forced her to end her athletic career, but it served as an inspiration to explore the field of sports medicine and injury rehabilitation. She has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and worked alongside one of the most knowledgeable and experienced physical therapists, gaining even more insight into the issues of professional sports. Now a Certified Massage Therapist and Scenar practitioner, Aly helps people recover and prevent serious injuries through a holistic approach.
