Tropical Storm Isaias brought 50 mph onshore winds to the Jersey shore, even a 109 mph gust to Long Beach Island, NJ. The strong winds swung offshore over the afternoon, cleaning up the healthy storm surf, leaving challenging conditions, and a few gems, in the wake of the still-strong tropical storm, — as evidenced by this shot a few hours ago.⁣
