This is the largest number in recent history.⠀ ⠀ WP Secretary-General Pritam Singh has been formally designated Leader of the Opposition. He will be provided with staff support and resources to perform his role. He will also enjoy parliamentary privileges, such as the right of first response among MPs and more time for his speeches.⠀ ⠀ I hope to see not just more constructive debates, but serious policy alternatives from the opposition.
