Photo by @stephen_matera Low clouds hover around the central Cascade Mountains at dusk. Because of their proximity to the Pacific Ocean and Puget Sound, low clouds like these are common on the west slope of the Cascades. As the evening wears on, the air cools and the clouds will often sink into the valleys, allowing the higher peaks to rise above.
