I have chased the beauty and power of waves from an underwater perspective for many years. Usually my goal is to capture the surfing behavior of seals, turtles, mantas or dolphins from a underwater perspective. Once in a while however I come across a seascape that is compelling enough on its own. The crashing waves look like billowing storm clouds as they crash into a coral studded reef in the northern Red Sea. Shot on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック in collaboration with @saveourseasfoundation
