今日の和菓子：硝子の茶室「聞鳥庵」
ようやくオープンにこぎつけた京都市京セラ美術館に展示されているガラスの茶室。美術家、杉本博司氏の作品で、キューブ型の造形が画家モンドリアンのコンポジションにも見えるということから名付けられた「聞鳥庵（モンドリアン）」。周りの景色と一体化するような開放感は、2畳という茶室の狭さを感じさせない作り。そんな透き通るガラスと、真四角のモダンな形状を模した氷室豆腐の菓子です。
Today’s Wagashi : The Glass Tea House “Mondrian”
Located in Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art , the Glass Tea House Mondrian was designed by Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto. He compares the rectilinear form of the tea house and its positioning in the landscape with the work of Dutch De Stijl painter Piet Mondrian. This confectionary called Himuro-Dofu mimics the transparent cubic form floating on the water.
