There isn’t a quick solution to the issue of white privilege and systemic racism. We have to embark on a life long journey of learning, self-reflection, growth and pushing for change. There is a lot of work to be done, much of it offline. In fact what we do when nobody is watching is perhaps the most important. The introspection, the uncomfortable conversations, the reading, the learning, the discussions with our employers/employees, the purchases we make from black businesses and the changes we make to our own.
