This is a natural progression from where I started in this project, and for me, that is the ultimate point of committing to 100 days of any daily practice: to see where it inspires me to evolve and grow within it and beyond it. It’s also taught me that there is a magic that happens when the focus is not on mastering the subject at hand but truly just enjoying the learning and exploring along the way. I’m much more eager and curious and accomplish more when the focus is this way. Today’s piece is far from polished but it’s an entirely new territory with watercolors and I had immense fun creating it. . . . Are any of you doing a 100 Day Project or daily practice of sorts? How has it positively impacted you? My biggest takeaway is that creating from a place of curiosity, fascination and play motivates me to take more risks and try new methods than when I’m trying to accomplish a certain result.
