I love going places but I kind of despise the process I have to go through to get there. . The entourage behind me are the isle chair attendants. When I fly, because airplanes are not built with wheelchair access in mind, I have to transfer on what I liken to be an “adult stroller”. In As a result, my independence and mobility is taken away for a few minutes and put in the hands of a couple of complete strangers. Let not drop anything (me) okay?! . Not to mention, if I fly alone with Gunnar I have to hand him over to a complete stranger (usually the nicest, most willing flight attendant) while I get put on the plane. . Hey that’s a great quarantine project idea for @united ... why not, during this “down time”, make your airplanes accessible for wheelchair users!? .
