As a child I lived by a farm in the countryside and my parents turned half of our garden into an allotment for growing their own fresh fruit and vegetables to feed us. I remember running through the potato leaves, picking peas, beans and tomatoes and pulling up carrots to wash and cook them with my mum. Nothing tastes sweeter than food that is organically homegrown without pesticides and chemicals, bursting with sunshine and full of pure flavour. Now that I’m a mother myself I continue to treat my own children with the same love and consideration because what you eat is how you live - and my love goes far beyond my own family and friends. I want to help everybody to recognise and realise the potential of healthy food and frequent exercise because together this combination is life changing - it’s the equivalent of buying designer clothes (organic food) versus something cheap and poorly made that falls to pieces when worn a few times (fast food). If we pump our bodies with chemicals and insufficient fuel our bodies will eventually wear down and fail us. If we treat our digestive and immune systems with love, care and optimum nutrition we will be fit and healthy for many years to come with a better quality of life and greatly reduced risk of contracting serious illness and diseases.
