When I knew I would spend most of the winter in Salt Lake City, I was excited for snow sports, but I didn't know how much I would actually practice those. Would it be more snowboarding in resorts? or more backcountry skiing? Well thank's to my lovely @lbatcheck , backcountry skiing was the highlight of the winter with some great excursions, from early morning tours, full moon hikes and even a 3 days ski trip! Even though I've had experience from ski touring with my bro and dad years ago, it took me few days to actually get my bearings (physical fitness, gear, good spots, etc.).
