She’s not only an incredible businesswoman (music exec and founder of @the_xx_project, a women’s network/platform) but also a generous and dedicated friend (I can’t count the number of inspirational voice messages and goodies she dropped off while I was going through treatment, she even had a sound healer come to my home when I was too ill to move!) At an event of hers a few months ago, everyone introduced themselves by saying what they did and if there was anything they needed help with, and she refused to accept my answer as adequate. In her typical bold and unapologetic manner, she proceeded to give the room the best darn summary of my work bio, and put into words what I might need assistance with. This is how she is with all women. Pushing us to stand for our own greatness and what we want in the world, without apologies.
