チェルシー・ルーズさんのインスタグラム写真 - (チェルシー・ルーズInstagram)「Part 2/2: Once I saw the breakdown between men and women followers, I realized it made total sense that more attention was given to those photos where I had less clothes on, and why I kept getting numerous DM’s along the lines of “love that jiggly ass when you stick big moves.” (I’m sorry, but WTF!) I'd be lying if I didn't admit that it made me feel quite disgusting. I began to monitor what I was posting - less sports bra shots, definitely not that photo of basically jumping in Lincoln lake naked, maybe not that climbing vid either since my jig is obvious. To say I got self-conscious is an understatement. What’s even more Interesting now though is the fact that I’m losing followers at a very fast rate. No longer am I on that plateau - I’m not stuck - I’m moving somewhere. Just in the opposite direction that most want to. This trend begun once I begun talking about things that are deeper than just “sick climb, can’t wait for the future” and since founding She Sends Collective. Obviously I'm not creating content that resonates with a large part my current audience anymore. And you know what? That’s ok. As I've stepped into my self, am leading She Sends Collective, and not sending 5.14 on the reg, it’s true that I'm just not the same person I was 5 years ago when I was treating IG as my giga pet. I’m not willing to appeal to what it seemed like my audience wanted just for numbers. I’m not willing to hide myself for you. We all need to grow and change - for those of you sticking on board, thank you. You all do provide me with inspiration to dig deeper, be more of my authentic self, and not to question posting things like this, which will undoubtedly offend and help my numbers decrease even more. I’m also not going to censor my context based on fear of nasty comments like mentioned above. 🙌🏼 Freedom, friends, freedom! @francoislebeau photo #womxnstoriesmatter #shesendscollective #livewithoutlimits」2月28日 0時25分 - chelseanicholerude
