The twin sisters started dog mushing in Wisconsin at the age of nine, and have been competing in sled dog races for the past 13 years. Currently they live in Knik, Alaska, where they run the Seeing Double Sled Dog Racing kennel, training and caring for over 50 canine athletes. When Anna and Kristy aren’t mushing, they run triathlons and work in construction, commercial fishing, and landscaping.
