There is no shortcut to success. Anything truly worth working towards in life will not come easy. ⁣

One misconception that I see in today’s society is that people often focus on how they can find a shortcut to success or their goals rather than focusing on the long term. ⁣

In order to build a great physique, it takes working hard day after day for years just to get a fraction better than you were previously. There is no shortcut.⁣
⁣
I started training when I was 18 years old and wasn’t even recognized for my body until I was in my mid to late 20s. That is nearly 10 years of chomping at the bit day after day to just even get STARTED reaching my goals that I set out to accomplish. ⁣

If I had been focused only on the short term or a way to find a quick fix, I wouldn’t be where I am today. My focus has always been to make the most of the present day and let the long term unfold itself as I continue slowly building my craft. ⁣

Success in life stems from the thoughts you tell yourself every day, and ultimately translates to the story that you live. Mindset is everything. ⁣
