It’s really sweet, obviously we have our own ways and I never interfere in telling him how to ‘be a dad’ — I let him use his own dad-tuition. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but Oliver cries if I’m not holding him, so letting Simon feed and calm him is a great way to let them bond together so that Oliver doesn’t become so attached to me all the time. Simon has learned that distracting Oliver with a window while sucking on his little Philips Monkey Soothie instantly calms Oliver. It’s like magic, and Oliver loves it! I’ve read so many ways on what’s the BEST way to soothe Oliver, and you know what? There is no right or wrong way, it’s just whatever works for us, but it’s always his little Philips Monkey Soothie and a window that calms him straight away — it’s his little best friend and makes him feel safe :) #momtuition #ad @philipsavent
