That moment I didn’t want to end. We were so tired, exhausted, struggling, feeling so defeated as new parents but so inlove with with you and our circle of love. I had never loved liked this before, I wanted time to stop right there and then so it could last for an eternity. I knew we’d never be able to come back to that bonding moment where I was breastfeeding you in bed, at that age and that morning. But as we’ve continued to grow together, continued to learn about each other with the ups and downs, I’ve learned that these moments are one in a million and I’ve got so many more to look forward to with you my darling Oliver. Last week you made me tear up, that moment you finally reached out to cuddle me, those nights where you hold my finger on your chest to fall asleep, and that moment I saw your first semi-crawl. To these moments and to a billion more — cause my darling Oliver you’re everything I’ve been waiting for. Love mummy xx
