​This handsome fellow is a crowned iguana @theomahazoo. Found throughout several regions of Mexico, northern Belize, and Honduras, this species calls tropical dry and wet forests home. Despite increased deforestation for agriculture and livestock ranching in the crowned iguana’s home range, the species' population appears to be stable, and individuals have demonstrated an ability to adapt to modified environments.
