Chasing the Croatian sun ☀️
I’m having the most incredible time with my parents exploring the coastal towns of Croatia 🇭🇷 They’re so full of history and culture, I’m a little obsessed 😍 Tomorrow we are island hopping and the day after we continue our road trip on to Ston & Dubrovnik! Just left Split; go and enjoy the live music in the main square in the evenings. For the boat tour to the different islands, try do a smaller or private tour otherwise you will be packed into a boat like a sardine! The bays are extremely busy with day boats! We were lucky enough to be on our own sailing trip so wasn’t too bad in the early mornings and later afternoons. Dubrovnik is lovely but also extremely busy so head out very early mornings! They also have their summer music festival on so try and catch an orchestra in the palace etc. lots of options!

In Dubrovnik you have to do the Doria game of thrones tour. Great way to see the city and geek out! If you do the full day you also go out into the hills and further down the coastline 😊 also restaurant 1836 do great pizzas without the cheese (I’m vegan!)

There are some really cool bars in Dubrovnik that are based outside of the old town walls but on the coast - hard to explain, but you have to go through the main square and they are on the coast side. If you walk the walls you will see what I mean!

how long will you be in dubrovnik? my suggestion is to only spend a few hours in the old town (it’s really quite small and wherever you walk you end up back where you started), but otherwise i would say go out and explore the islands nearby!

Hey Zanna, if you're going to Dubrovnik, it's worth a visit to Lokrum Island - peacocks roam free on here, it's a different vibe kind of place. It's about half an hour boat trip from Dubrovnik's old port.
