Nothing beats fresh corn on the cob! On the BBQ, boiled, grilled, with a little butter, a pinch of salt and pepper, I love it, my kids love it, do you love it?? You don't have to buy the fresh cobs to enjoy sweetcorn though. Frozen sweetcorn is also a good option. It's frozen soon after it's picked so you still get most of the nutrients and sweetness you'd get from fresh corn! Plus did you know it's not even technically a veg?! It's a fruit! Corn will never taste better than the one my grandpa used to grill whole in the open fire, after picking it directly from the field. But I still enjoy it to this day!

Corn is our major summer crop in southern Ontario, Canada. We all grew up eating corn on the cob and tomatoes sandwiches during hot summers.

Simply boiled and dressed with a knob of butter fresh from the allotment is sheer heaven for me!
