No backyard? No problem! You don't need a garden to plant these lush herbs. 🌱 Mint, rosemary, basil, oregano, chives, parsley, and thyme all grow especially well on a windowsill, and you'll likely use these most in the kitchen. Learn about planting windowsill herbs at the link in bio. 👆🏼

Good luck with this. In my experience it doesn't work. The plants will look their best the day you plant them. Its downhill after that. Most houses are too dry and there is never enough light. Solutions: a plate of gravel filled with water on top of which sits the potted herb, and the best grow light you can buy positioned overhead. If you're willing to provide those accomodations you may have a fighting chance.

My rosemary doesn’t like as much water as say the others. Prefers drier conditions. Guess one would have to balance that out by not watering it as much..

I love this and try to do it but I always get little fruit flys living in the soil. What can I do about them and still enjoy herbs inside?

Friendly reminder that these plants dont last forever, they will be dead in a few months and you will have to keep planting new ones.

What if you have a yard, but no knack for planting? (No matter how hard you try) 😂🤷🏻♀️

@a_eliz_j do this under your big window! You could move it outside when it’s warm.
