This week’s #TBT looks back at this curious crew when they welcomed a new hutch that would keep them dry and free from drafts, in addition to a nice cozy space for nesting. “My gaggle of geese is thriving at my Bedford, New York farm. I now have a total of 11 beautiful geese - Sebastopol geese, Toulouse geese and of course my two Pomeranian guard geese. I have always had a separate hutch for my geese, but now that they are growing so big, I decided it was time to build them a bigger enclosure in the largest part of my chicken yard.” - Martha. How wonderful! I’ve always admired you, and given the chance, i would have wanted to work for you. I’m 59 and the wife of a Texas State Trooper. I even had a dream once, that i was on location as your assistant, it was wonderful! It’s just so amazing to have them and seeing them grow from little baby goslings to this beautiful looking geese. I’ve raised them in my farm and I always hold them up and now as they are all grown they wouldn’t mind if I hold them up! it’s weird my family laugh so hard as it’s so strange for letting me do that to them! 😂😍

I love the fluffy geese...have never seen these geese before. I raised Toulouse, geese are very lovable and loving, and they are clowns...just hilarious. They were really a lot of fun.

My great grandmother had geese who acted like Dobermans. Used to scare me something awful as a child.
